Dining reservations for October 1 (Walt Disney World’s 50th) opened up this morning and the availability is already extremely limited!
In October 2021, we are going to be celebrating the 50th anniversary, and to commemorate, Disney World is bringing a party to all of its Disney theme parks later this year — making this Walt Disney World’s biggest celebration yet!
Soon-to-be Guests have already booked their Park Pass reservations and are beginning to plan out their day as October is just around the corner. This morning, dining reservations opened up for October 1 and when we checked My Disney Experience to see what availability was left, we found out that those reservations are booking up quick!
When checking dining reservation availability for breakfast for October 1, much to our surprise there was no availability, as seen in the screenshot below.
We also checked out to see if there were any lunch reservations available for October 1. After sorting the availability, we found out that there were only two restaurant options — Mama Melrose in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Paradiso 37 in Disney Springs. You can see this reflected in the screenshots below.
Though only two restaurants popped up, there are clearly several time slots still available so if you are wanting to eat at one of these restaurants for lunch on October 1, we recommend making those reservations as soon as possible.
When looking at dinner options, there were a handful of restaurants still showing availability. At the time of publication, Guests are able to choose between Paddlefish, Paradiso 37, or Raglan Road — all located in Disney Springs. You can see this reflected in the screenshot below.
Again, all three restaurants have multiple times available so if you are wanting to secure a dinner reservation, book yours as soon as possible.
It is clear that fans are eager to celebrate the 50th anniversary at Walt Disney World and are already planning their magical vacations. We recommend continuing to check the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website as availability is subject to change and more reservations may become available.
