If you are feeling the need for speed and have been planning to ride Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, you should prepare yourself for a long wait time first.
Just slightly over an hour after park opening, at 9:15 a.m. PST on July 21, Radiator Springs Racers already posted a 95-minute wait, as seen in the screenshot below.
And because Disney California Adventure has just barely opened for the day, we expect this wait time to climb throughout today as more Guests enter the theme park.
If you are looking to race down Route 66 but do not want to wait an hour and a half, you do have the option of entering the Single Rider line as Disneyland recently brought this option back. However, if you do opt for the Single Rider line, please keep in mind it is not guaranteed that you will sit with the rest of your party as Disney utilizes the Single Rider line to fill any empty seats in ride vehicles after loading parties from the Standby Line.
The Disneyland website states the following regarding the Single Rider system at the theme parks:
- Immediate boarding or choice of seat is not guaranteed.
- Single Riders must meet all boarding requirements.
- Special seating requests may not be accommodated.
- Participating attractions and wait times may vary.
- This service is subject to availability.
