As many of us are planning summer vacations in Walt Disney World this year, a lot of Disney fans are planning far in advance, and I mean far!
With Walt Disney World implementing the park pass system (a park reservation system for theme park ticket holders, Select Resort Hotels and Annual Passholders) many Guests are preparing to secure their theme park visit to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom this year.
Holidays such as Thanksgiving and even Christmas Day are being booked as we speak! Let’s take a look at what is currently booked and what is left.
Park Pass for Thanksgiving
As we have mentioned before, once a valid theme park ticket is purchased, A Disney Park Pass is also required in order to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. This was put in place to limit the capacity due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the official Disney World website, the week of Thanksgiving is already being booked up, starting on Monday, November 22. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is going to be a popular park to visit as it is booked for the 22, 23 and 24 of November. Guests still have an opportunity to book the remaining three theme parks for those dates.
On Thanksgiving Day, November 25, Magic Kingdom is completely booked up. This isn’t a huge surprise, as many Guests enjoy watching fireworks on a special holiday. Keep in mind, we have seen Disney replenish dates so keep an eye out if you want to celebrate Thanksgiving in Magic Kingdom.
Annual Passholders are free to book Thanksgiving week as all dates in November are still available and up for grabs. Check the official website or the My Disney Experience App for updates and more information.
Park Passes for Christmas
Now that Guests are well aware of the Christmas holidays happening in Magic Kingdom, it was not surprising in the least to see that Park passes for Christmas Day have been booked.
For Theme Park Ticket Holders and Select Resort Hotel Guests, Magic Kingdom is unavailable. All other theme parks are still obtainable.
Annual Passholders still have an opportunity to visit the theme park reservation calendar and book any date in December!
To ensure you will be able to see Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks in Magic Kingdom, our suggestion is to book far in advance as this is a highly anticipated event in Walt Disney World.
