Yesterday, Disney celebrated Halfway to the Holidays by announcing what Guests can look forward to at the theme parks later this year — including a brand-new event replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the return of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, holiday projections on theme park icons, and more.
However, there was one announcement that got overlooked.
In one of the many Disney Parks Blog articles from yesterday celebrating Halfway to the Holidays, there was one short paragraph that caught our attention. When reading about the new merchandise coming, we noticed that Disney snuck in an announcement regarding Jack Skellington taking a summer vacation, which could mean a new event is coming to the theme parks:
Speaking of “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”… we all know Jack Skellington for his merry misadventures during Halloween and Christmas, but even The Pumpkin King needs a holiday every once in a while. This July, Jack is headed on summer vacay — and you’re invited to join in on the frightfully fun festivities. Be sure to check back here for more information on how you can hang ten with Jack and his misfit crew this summer season at Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town Beach Club.
Though there aren’t any other details surrounding Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town Beach Club, it sounds like an event may be coming to Disney’s Beach Club Resort at Walt Disney World — or maybe even to Disney’s Blizzard Beach.
Another possibility is Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. At this time, the water park remains closed to Guests, however, Disney Parks Blog used the phrase “hang ten”, which hints at the Typhoon Lagoon vibe!
Either way, we cannot wait to hear more about Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town Beach Club and celebrate the fun festivities with Jack!
Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information regarding Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town Beach Club.
