Lately, there have been a few states that many have been flocking to, and Florida is one of them. In Orlando, the housing market has become a tough one as there is a shortage of houses in comparison to the demand of people looking to buy. Because of this, many newcomers are looking to rent, which has sent the rental market soaring.

For example, when looking at an apartment complex with a fireworks view, the rental cost went from $1,800.00 to $2,150.00 a month, on average, in just one month. Although not all Orlando apartment complexes work off an ever-changing rental cost based on the demand of what they have available, many do, and we can see that the demand is clearly there.

It is now being reported that there are two apartment complexes being constructed near Walt Disney World Resort! The project is called CSC Disney Orlando and, per the Orlando Business Journal, has been noted as the following:

Two multifamily developments may rise near Walt Disney World, adding more than 1,200 apartments to an area that’s bouncing back from the pandemic.

Combined, the projects may cost in excess of $240 million to build, based on industry standards, and will create jobs as well as opportunities for subcontractors and vendors. Orlando’s fast-growing population and its low apartment complex vacancy rates continue to drive demand to build new residential space.

According to a recent presentation, it seems that the builders on this project foresee a strong financial gain from the new builds: “We are confident that this site will benefit from a strong post-Covid recovery in the travel and leisure industry due to its proximity to numerous global tourist destinations.”

With developing communities such as O-Town also undergoing construction and erecting more and more apartment complexes, those looking to live close to Disney World will soon have more choices than ever when it comes to finding the perfect place to live.
