Just Announced: Disneyland Paris Now Requiring Health Pass For Guests

Attention Disneyland Paris fans and upcoming Guests! We now have confirmation from Disney that in order to visit Disneyland Paris, you will be required to show a health pass before entering the theme parks.

The new rule goes into effect on July 21.

According to Disneyland Paris’s Twitter account,

Following an announcement from the French government, as of 21st July, a Health Pass will be required for guests aged 18 and older to visit Disneyland Paris.

What kind of health pass is accepted? According to the French version of the Disneyland Paris official website (google translated into English) here is the description provided below:

What is the health pass that will be requested at the entrance to Disneyland Paris?

According to information published by the government on the date of publication of this page, the “health pass” consists of the presentation, digital or paper, of one of the following three proofs:
Complete vaccination, either:
– 2 weeks after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
– 4 weeks after injection for vaccines with a single injection (Johnson & Johnson from Janssen);
– 2 weeks after the injection for vaccines in people who have had a history of Covid (1 single injection)

OR a negative RT-PCR or antigen test of less than 48 hours;

OR, for people who have had Covid-19: the positive result of an RT-PCR or antigen test certifying that the person has contracted Covid-19, and that a period of more than 11 days and less than 6 months is passed since obtaining the result of this test (considered as a certificate of reinstatement)

Please note that Guests who are visiting from August 30 on with teens must provide a health pass, as Disneyland Paris states:

Who needs a health pass to access Disneyland Paris?

From July 21, all adults aged 18 or over must present a health pass in order to access Disneyland Paris. From August 30, this obligation will also apply to visitors aged 12 to 17. Children under 12 are not affected by this measure.

For travelers heading to France, and or visiting Disneyland Paris, please note that there are certain guidelines to follow before entering. Guests can either provide a negative Covid test 72 hours prior to departure or a digital vaccination card proving they are fully vaccinated.

Face masks are still required at all times (minus actively eating or drinking) in this Park, and Covid testing is offered to Guests at the test center in the Disney Village from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Sunday.
