As Disney World continues to head towards a new “normal,” Guests are slowly beginning to see pre-pandemic offerings return.
We have now begun to see interactive queues and high-touch areas reopen, masks are optional for fully vaccinated Guests and Cast Members, fireworks are back, capacity has increased, and more! One popular reopening was Casey’s Corner, a Guest favorite hot dog spot that remained closed for over a year.
Across the way, Guests were often able to enjoy a delicious scoop of Edy’s ice cream at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. After a very long closure, today the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is back in action!
Guests can once again get their sweet treat fix as the Plaza currently has a modified menu, which is perfect considering the Main Street Confectionery is currently closed for refurbishments.
The Mouse For Less (@themouseforless) has already stopped by to grab a scoop, and it looks like they were not the only one:
?Hooray!?
Ice Cream is back at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at the Magic Kingdom. ?✨
One thing to note – there is currently a modified menu! ?Scroll to take a look!

As noted in the caption and photos above, the menu is currently limited. Guests may purchase The “Plaza” Ice Cream Sundae, a Double-Scooped Ice Cream Cone, or a Brownie Sundae, according to the signage displayed outside the ice cream parlor.
With the majority of ice cream at Magic Kingdom being soft serve, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor offers a different option for Guests looking to indulge in some delicious ice cream, with a variety of flavors from vanilla to chocolate to cookies and cream, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, and more!
Indulge in hand-scooped ice cream at this sweetly nostalgic parlor on Main Street, U.S.A. Savor fresh waffle-bowl sundaes smothered in hot fudge! Fat-free and no sugar added options are also available.
