For starters, only those staying in a Disney Deluxe or Disney Villa Resort hotel will be able to enjoy the extended evening hours for select theme parks on select days. The morning hours, on the other hand, are for every Disney World Resort hotel Guest. This allows Guests to enjoy select attractions at every theme park every single day!
However, not everyone is happy with the new extra hours offering, specifically with the evening hours benefit, as many feel it is not fair.
Inside the Magic Facebook follower, Jen T., expressed:
Only for the more expensive resorts I wish they would do it for all resort guests.
Which Tracey D. replied:
all resort guests get early entry. Deluxe resort guests will get extra evening time
Levi T. then chimed in with:
doesnt do any good if you actually like to sleep in on your time off.

Another Inside the Magic follower commented how disappointing she is. Long-time Annual Passholder, Carolyn S., said:
So if you stay at a moderate or value resort you don’t qualify to enter late night but only are allowed to do the early morning thing? This is discrimination against your own Disney resort guests, so sorry I renewed my annual pass and I have been an annual pass holder since they offered them
Kathy M. also expressed how she really felt about the news:
Early is for all resorts……Evening Extra Hours are Deluxe and Villas Only.
Not liking this. I liked going to a park that did not have the early hours…..they always seemed less crowded. Oh well, not my call.
Though not everyone is upset by the new extra hours, in fact, Bill H. felt that it was pretty fair, writing:
I’ve never stayed at a deluxe Disney resort (too expensive for my budget) but don’t mind if Disney gives an evening benefit to guests who pay deluxe rates (at least $450 and often much more). You get what you pay for. I’ll be quite happy to get the early entry benefit from staying from my value Disney hotel.
Overall, it seems that many are upset about the evening hours, as Disney Guests expressed they tend to enjoy sleeping in on vacation. And if they do not spend the extra money to stay at a Deluxe Resort or Deluxe Villa, then they cannot take advantage of the extra evening hours.

Disney Parks Blog shared the full details regarding this new offering:
Just in time for the start of this magical celebration, on Oct. 1, we will be rolling out a new early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels, giving them the first chance to enjoy select attractions at EVERY theme park, EVERY day. These guests will also be among the first each day to see the dazzling decorations and EARidescent excitement. Guests will need a valid ticket or pass and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same date for early theme park entry.
In addition, with the kickoff of the 50th anniversary, guests staying at one of our Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort hotels will also be able to enjoy extended evening hours on select nights in select theme parks. Extended evening hours will begin in early October with specific dates and parks to be shared at a later time, so please be sure to check back on DisneyWorld.com for the latest.
