In recent weeks, Disney Cruise Line and other American cruise operators have been slowly moving toward a domestic return to sailing. Disney Cruise Line has completed one test cruise on the Disney Dream and has added more simulated voyages on the Dream, the Disney Fantasy, and the Disney Wonder.
Many Disney Cruise fans in the U.S. are excited to plan a trip of a lifetime but are wondering what exactly is still going to be available onboard due to the CDC’s Conditional Sailing Order and necessary pandemic-era protocols.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney Cruise Line vacations from the U.S. have been temporarily suspended. The official Disney Cruise Line website states:
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently approved our application to conduct a simulation cruise aboard the Disney Dream on June 29. This is an important next step toward our gradual and responsible resumption of service in U.S. waters.
While we continue to work closely with the CDC to refine our new health and safety protocols, it will take some time to bring our Crew back on board and prepare our ships to welcome Guests once again.
