For 2021, Walt Disney World is starting the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival on July 15 with its famous Global Marketplaces, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, merchandise, and more! The event will run through November 20.
But that’s not all because we now have confirmation that the theme park will be bringing NEW food booths to select countries in World Showcase for this year’s festival.
2021 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival
In case you weren’t familiar, when the ongoing pandemic hit, Disney World had to adapt to operating as safely as possible. One of these changes included introducing the “Taste of EPCOT” festivals, starting with the 2020 Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. The reason for this temporary name change was because Guests could only get a taste of what the festival can really offer.
Well, for the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival — Disney has dropped the “Taste of EPCOT” name and is now calling it EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival once again! This means Guests can look forward to checking out this iconic festival in full, just as it was prior to the ongoing pandemic.
New Food Booths Coming to EPCOT
Not only will families be able to participate in Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, listen to musical performances by Voice of Liberty, the Jammin’ Chefs, and Mariachi Cobre, and sample delicious foods and drinks from around the world, but they will be able to check our some NEW food booths as well.
According to Disney Parks Blog, Guests can look forward to new Global Marketplaces coming to Morocco, The American Adventure, and more:
We’ll have more details on specific menu items in an upcoming Foodie Guide, but there are new Global Marketplace concepts coming to Morocco, The American Adventure and throughout the park in July, with even more marketplaces opening in the fall.
