Even on a fully open attraction, things can always go wrong. Whether Guests are visiting Disney World or Universal Orlando Resort, attractions break down often, and when Guests are on the ride, and this happens, they may have to be evacuated from the ride. Being evacuated from a slow-moving omnimover attraction vehicle is one thing, but having to be evacuated from arguably the most thrilling coaster at Universal Orlando Resort could be a little more on the scary side.

Today, Jurassic World VelociCoaster had to evacuate Guests off the attraction after the ride began. Thankfully, the evacuation happened at the first launch, and all Guests exited the attraction safely. Inside the Magic spoke with one of the Guests that was on the coaster when the evacuation happened.
“We boarded the ride and right before we were launched off, there was a long pause then all the music went off for about 30 seconds. [There was an] announcement of the delay and about 10 minutes later employees came around with bottles of water and got us off the ride one by one, lead us back to the exit of the ride and gave us the fast passes excluding the “newer” rides like hagrids and the VelociCoaster.”

Unfortunately, the Guests were not allowed to ride the attraction again once it was fully operational. The evacuated Guest mentioned they had received a one-time use Express Pass before when The Incredible Hulk coaster broke down. At that time, the pass excluded all attractions in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
What would you do if you had to be evacuated off of VelociCoaster? Have you ever been evacuated off a coaster before?
