Disney Parks are celebrating “Halfway to Halloween” with fun treats and experiences. And, with Walt Disney World announcing a new Halloween special event, Disney fans are in the spooky spirit.
Now, another Halloween favorite is returning this year!
Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas live concert will be returning this fall season! It’s been three years since composer Danny Elfman has graced the stage with this memorable score. And, fans of the film are eager to attend this special live to film concert experience!
Elfman is back as the singing voice of the Pumpkin King, and once again teaming up with conductor John Maurceri, a full orchestra, and choir to bring the classic songs from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas to life. There will also be some special guests in attendance.
Although names have not yet been announced, anyone who has been to one of these experiences knows that there’s a good possibility for cameos by Catherine O’Hara (Sally) and even Ken Page (Oogie Boogie).
This special event might look a little different this year, however. One major difference is the location. The Nightmare Before Christmas Live to Film Concert Experience is usually held at the famous Hollywood Bowl.
The event will now be hosted at the Los Angeles Banc of California Stadium. Another big difference is that this event, at this time, will be one night only — October 29, 2021. Other times this concert has been held for several nights in a row.
There are a few things that haven’t changed about this live concert event, though. Costumes are still highly encouraged, as is singing along to your favorite Nightmare Before Christmas songs! Also, there will be on-site trick-or-treating.
Make sure you grab your tickets for this one-night-only event starting May 14. Tickets can be purchased through the Ticketmaster website.
