Since the reopening of Walt Disney World Resort last summer, many Guests have been anticipating the return of many live shows including The Festival of The Lion King show in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

In case you aren’t aware, many entertainment offerings — including live shows, parades, and fireworks — have been suspended due to the ongoing pandemic and the safety of Guests and Cast Members. One of the shows that did not reopen with the theme parks in July is The Festival of The Lion King show.

This show includes Cast Members showcasing their talented voices singing classic The Lion King songs. Guests can see trapeze artists, stilt walkers, and dancers dressed up in amazing animal costumes as the stars of the show. It’s safe to say that experiences like these are what make Disney’s Animal Kingdom, unlike any other theme park.
