Recently, we shared that Disneyland has changed the process for booking theme park reservations, which now allows Guests to purchase tickets and make their theme park reservations at the same time. This quick and convenient new reservation system also allows for canceling your reservations and booking new reservations even after Guests have purchased tickets.
Keeping that in mind, many Disneyland Park reservations have been booking up quicker than expected, and June is a very popular month to visit Disneyland Resort! Here’s a look at which dates are left to book and visit Disneyland Park for the summer months ahead.
June in Disneyland Park
Ever since Disneyland reopened its gates, it has been a very popular place to visit for California residents! Disney fans have missed the Disney magic in Anaheim and have been reserving park days, especially for Disneyland Park. With newly reimagined attractions like Snow White’s Enchanted Wish and cooling off on Splash Mountain, this Disney Park is extremely popular due to the pent-up demand of being closed for over a full year (and since it is the original Disney Park).
With many dates still open for California Adventure, we noticed Disneyland Park’s reservations are appearing to be scarce. This morning while checking the Disneyland Reservation calendar, only June 16 was the only date I could reserve for a 1 Park Per Day ticket! Keep in mind that this is subject to change, but as of now it is hard to get a Disneyland reservation for June.
Many dates remained for California Adventure Park including,
- June 3
- June 14
- June 17
- June 18
- June 20 to 25
- June 27 to 30
For Park Hopper Ticket Guests, it seems they have also secured many dates with only June 29 and 30 left to visit Disneyland Park. Guests who are planning Disney California Adventure Park still have time to choose this specific park as a starter park for the following dates:
- June 17 and 18
- June 20 and 21
- June 24 and 25
- June 27 to 30
It did not take long before checking back to the 1 Park Per Day ticket option before I realized June 16 was booked. As we have stated before, checking the Theme Park Availability Calendar many times during the day is key and important when planning since reservations can come and go throughout the day and week, and they are being added on a rolling basis.
Booking a a Theme Park Reservation
As we have previously stated, Orange County is still in tier 3, which allows Disneyland to keep capacity at 25%. When Anaheim enters the yellow tier, which may be in the next couple of weeks, the parks may increase capacity to 35%. Keeping that in mind, this increase may add an increase to reservations as well, and more theme park reservations continue to become available on a rolling basis.
Also to note, Disney is adding Disneyland and California Adventure Park reservations daily so even though it seems there are no June reservations available right now, Disney may add more throughout the month. We recommend checking Disneyland’s official website early in the morning, 8 a.m. PST for changes and reservation additions.
Theme park reservations continue to open on a rolling basis as they can be made up to 60 days in advance. Currently, the month of July is open until the 17 with many dates still available for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for 1 Park Per Day tickets and Park Hopper Ticket Guests.
Be sure to check daily with Inside the Magic for more updates and information regarding Disneyland Park and what’s in store for Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure including a very BIG menu with a HUGE quantum price!
