With the reopening of Universal Studios Hollywood, some new enhancements will be debuting on Jurassic World — The Ride, including a new dinosaur!
Universal Studios Hollywood will be reopening to Guests next month and those who are fans of Jurassic World — The Ride are in for a special surprise! Universal has announced that the Indominus Rex at the end of the attraction has been updated.
If you love to ride Jurassic World — The Ride, you likely know that when the attraction originally debuted, there was an Indominus Rex at the end. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing to some. It was clear that Universal still had some much-needed updates to perform on the attraction. Now we are sharing some great news surrounding the Indominus Rex has been redone!
Universal calls the new Indominus Rex a stunningly realistic dinosaur and we cannot wait to see it.
If you have not been able to ride Jurassic World — the Ride here is what you can expect:
Prepare yourself for the evolution of Jurassic World – The Ride. Enter an immersive land and come face-to-face with the new Indominus rex as she stalks you through the jungle. Get caught in the fray as she’s confronted by her archrival, the Tyrannosaurus rex, in an epic battle for the ages.Â
In addition to the enhancements made to Jurassic World — The Ride, Universal fans can look forward to a brand-new attraction opening with Universal Studios Hollywood! The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash is a new attraction on the upper lot, which you can read more about here.
Universal Studios Hollywood reopens to the public on April 16. If you are a Universal Pass Member you can enter the park before it reopens, which is a great opportunity to ride the attractions before anyone else! This is a big perk for Universal Pass Members.
