Credit: Inside the MagicDisneyland Resort has been closed for a year, but we are getting close to crossing the finish line of the Resort finally reopening on April 30. While we countdown to April 30, we do still have something exciting to look forward to!
Disneyland Resort is holding a special ticketed event called A Touch of Disney. We are on the ground for the first day of the sold-out event and we are looking forward to sharing how smoothly A Touch of Disney goes.

A Touch of Disney is a limited-time event that begins today, March 18. Tickets for the event, which is being held at Disney California Adventure Park, were sold through April 19 which is the official ending date.Â
If you were lucky enough to get a ticket, though, you can look forward to plenty of food, shopping, and fun inside of Disney California Adventure!
Here is a look at the crowds at the entrance of A Touch of Disney, you can see that though lines are lengthy, things are relaxed and organized:
Due to Disney limiting the number of Guests able to attend the event, it is not crowded. You can also see Guests social distancing while waiting outside the gates of California Adventure:
With so few crowds it is an enjoyable day to be inside of California Adventure!
So far the event is extremely organized and again, very relaxed. If you have tickets and plan to visit A Touch of Disney you will not be disappointed.
If you didn’t get a ticket to A Touch of Disney don’t worry, Disneyland reopens on April 30 and you are still able to visit Downtown Disney in the meantime. Currently, Downtown Disney has certain restaurants and shops open for you to enjoy.
