Do you ever want to step in time with Dick Van Dyke? Well, now you can at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts!

Today is the final day of the artful festival at EPCOT, which means Guests have one more chance to grab a Disney Park Pass and check out everything the festival has to offer! For those who don’t know, Festival of the Arts is one of EPCOT’s four annual festivals and boasts plenty of stunning Disney artwork to both purchase and enjoy. There are also stunning and delicious food and drink samples available for purchase around all of World Showcase.

One of the most beautiful aspects of Festival of the Arts this year, however, was the 3D chalk art that Guests have been able to take photos with. The artwork has been constantly changing, from Belle’s enchanted rose in Beauty and the Beast, to the bayou in Princess and the Frog. Now, EPCOT has made a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious work of art with Mary Poppins themed chalk art from the Julie Andrews film (not to be mistaken with Mary Poppins Returns starring Emily Blunt).

As we can see below, Denise at Mousesteps (@Mousesteps) posted a photo of the mural on the floor. The lively artwork sure makes us want to jump on in.

Jason Ratner (@jayratner) responded to the Tweet with a photo of a little Disney fan showing up exactly how the photo-op is supposed to look. From this, you can really feel the 3-D effect come to life!

Considering Mary Poppins combines the world of 2D animation with real-life human interaction, using Mary Poppins as a chalk art theme may have been one of EPCOT’s best choices yet! This is because this is exactly what it would have looked like in the film, and now we can all take a jolly holiday together!

Below we can see Nate Baranowski enjoying the new artwork!

Hanging out with penguin friends in my final piece from the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! Watching Mary Poppins as a kid I loved the idea of jumping in the chalk art into another world. It was so cool to be able to do that this weekend. #artfulepcot #chalkart #marypoppins

It truly does seem that all Guests who have the chance to take some photos with these penguins would equate the experience to eating a spoon full of sugar! Sweet and delicious.

Although Festival of the Arts is coming to a close, EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival is around the corner! The floral festival will begin on March 3, 2021 with Disney topiaries and stunning landscape taking over the park. That being said, it should be noted that all festivals that are currently underway have taken on the prefix title “Taste of”, considering that not all typical offerings are available due to the ongoing pandemic.

Do you love the Mary Poppins 3D chalk art? What was your favorite chalk art at the festival?
