Disneyland Resort temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic on March 14, 2020. As a result of this, many planned events, such as Disneyland After Dark parties and the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, did not take place as scheduled.
Now, Disneyland Resort has announced that Guests who purchased 2020 Sip and Savor passes will be eligible for refunds. The official update on the Disneyland website reads:
The 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival did not take place as planned through April 21, 2020 because of the temporary closure of the theme parks in line with direction from government officials. Due to this unprecedented situation, Guests who purchased a 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival Sip and Savor pass may request a refund in the amount of $7.00 for each qualifying entitlement tab. Qualifying entitlement tabs are unused entitlement tabs that remain attached to the 2020 Food & Wine Festival Sip and Savor pass and are returned to us. Detached tabs will not qualify for refunds.
To request a refund, we ask that you choose one of the following methods:
Online: Submit a request through the Help Center by selecting “2020 Food & Wine Sip and Savor Pass Refund Request” in the “Subject” drop-down menu and filling out the form.
Phone: Call us at (888) 231-7639 for assistance.
At this time, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park remain officially closed. The Downtown Disney District — and, by extension, Buena Vista Street at DCA — are open for shopping and outdoor dining.
Starting next month, Disney California Adventure will be hosting a new food event that will see additional areas of the theme park, such as Pixar Pier and Pacific Wharf, open to Guests for the first time in a year. Rides and attractions will not be operational in line with Governor Gavin Newsom’s theme park reopening guidelines.
Stay tuned for additional details about this exciting upcoming event.
