Credit: Kelly C. ITMHarmonioUS is the all-new nighttime spectacular that is currently being built for EPCOT’s World Showcase Lagoon. A replacement to the previous beloved show, Illuminations, HarmonioUS is set to bring in new technology to wow EPCOT Guests.
As construction work continues on the oversized barges that have been made permanent residents of World Showcase Lagoon, many Guests are getting excited for what’s to come with this new show! Our reporter has taken photos of some of the ongoing construction happening at EPCOT for HarmonioUS. Let’s take a look!

Recently, Disney unveiled new signage for HarmonioUS, as well as tested the fireworks for the show. As the nighttime spectacular gets closer to its debut at Walt Disney World Resort we anticipate more testing but we will just have to wait and see!
Here you can see the center barge with a few of its panels lit up during construction taking place while Guests were in the park.
This center barge is MASSIVE and will be the anchor point for the entire show. This photo really helps you get a feel for the size and scale of these barges:

All of this construction happening during the day within Guests’ view really has us excited for this brand new nighttime spectacular to debut at EPCOT. Disney has not given an official debut date for HarmonioUS, but until then we will keep you updated on all of the ongoing construction progress being made to the barges!

The show is a beautifully crafted dreamscape of Disney music and images, reimagined by diverse cultural musicians and artists from around the world. It’s a transformative experience, where we can discover how Disney music has the power to inspire and unite us all with the magic of possibility.
This is far from the only ongoing construction project happening around EPCOT at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have recently visited EPCOT you could not miss the overwhelming amount of construction walls in Tomorrowland, or around the World Showcase. One project that is getting closer and closer to the finish line is the France Pavilion expansion! This expansion will of course include an all-new attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, that will anchor the expansion. You can read more about that and see photos here!
