Fans have been waiting for quite some time to see the highly anticipated sequel to Enchanted, and during the Investors Day 2020 event, Disney actually confirmed that Disenchanted, a sequel to the popular film Enchanted, will be coming soon to Disney+ with Amy Adams returning as Giselle!

Not long after the news broke, Patrick Dempsey, who played Robert Phillip, was also confirmed to be re-joining the fairy tale sequel. And, earlier this year we reported that original Enchanted star James Marsden spoke out about the possible sequel, but at this time, he has not been confirmed to return.

Now, it looks like fans may not have to wait too long to see the film hit Disney+ as Production Weekly has reported that Disenchanted will begin filming this Spring in Ireland, which the DisInsider has also confirmed! The detail that caught our eye is the fact that filming will be taking place in Ireland — If you recall, the first film took place mostly in New York City, but Ireland does closely resemble the land of Andalasia, which is the animated land Giselle is from. So could the sequel take place mostly in Andalasia? I guess we will just have to wait to find out!

Unfortunately, we don’t know much other information regarding the upcoming Disney+ film, however, Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information.
