Disney is opening up Blizzard Beach for Guests once again March 7, 2021 after an extended closure. This is exciting as it is another part of the phased reopening of Walt Disney World. Now, you can purchase tickets and plan to add Blizzard Beach to your upcoming Disney vacation!
Walt Disney World has two water parks located within the resort, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. There is no word on when Typhoon Lagoon might open for Guests just yet. But, we are so glad that Blizzard Beach is set to open as the temperature is about to start rising in Central Florida once again and a water park will be a most welcomed way to spend a day in the sun!
Here are the details from Disney Parks Blog on the cost of Blizzard Beach tickets, now that they are officially on sale once again:
Our One-Day Water Park Ticket (without blockout dates) is now available for $69 + tax (Adult) and $63 + tax (ages 3 – 9). Other ticket options are also available. Tickets can be purchased online at Disneyworld.com and will remain valid through Dec. 31, 2021. If you’re planning a 2021 Disney vacation or a day trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach, now is the perfect time to get your Disney Water Park tickets.
Disney Parks Blog goes on to say that Disney will be following strict health and safety guidelines throughout Blizzard Beach for the safety of their Guests and their Cast Members. They reinforce that Blizzard Beach will be operating at a limited capacity, just like all four Disney World theme parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
You can read more about Walt Disney Worlds health and safety guidelines here.
Disney has confirmed that their standard theme park face mask guidelines will apply except when Guests are actively in the water or actively eating and drinking at Blizzard Beach.
