Shanghai Disneyland was the first Disney Park in the world to reopen its gates during the pandemic, Disney has regarded it as a trailblazer for how its sister theme parks like the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort can operate safely.
Shanghai Disney’s President Joe Schott recently spoke on his resort’s success, saying:
We started with having to reimagine the guest experience. As you think about the entry pattern and other things that we needed to do differently, we had to prioritize the safety and health of our guests and cast while still preserving a really magical experience along the way.
We had to make changes daily. We’d have conversations a couple of times a day and then regroup each night.
We at Inside the Magic offer our congratulations to Shanghai Disney Resort and continue to send our faith, trust, and pixie dust that the success continues on!
