As we get closer to ringing in a new year, it’s important to remember the brave and hardworking essential workers that have helped so many during this difficult time.
Due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, many have lost their jobs. We’ve seen this play out as many Disney Cast Members have been let go from their jobs — and continue to do so. However, others that are considered to be essential and frontline workers have been risking their health and safety for their communities since the pandemic began.
Now, as COVID cases continue to rise, Starbucks at Downtown Disney and at Orlando’s Disney Springs will have a special offer for all the special essential workers.
As we have learned from their Instagram, for the month of December, Starbucks will be giving health care workers a tall-sized freshly brewed hot or iced coffee for free!
Their post states:
You’ve been there for our communities, we’re here to support you. For the month of December, we’re offering front-line responders a free tall brewed or iced coffee at participating US stores. From all our partners, thank you.
These offers will be available to redeem at Starbucks locations at Anaheim’s Downtown Disney District and at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs in Florida. The Starbucks offer states that company-operated locations will be accepting this offer, so that’s good news for frontline workers visiting Disney Springs and Downtown Disney. There is no confirmation of whether in-park Starbucks locations like Fiddler, Fifer, & Practical Café will have this special offer as they do serve Starbucks coffee — especially as Buena Vista Street has just reopened.
It is important to point out that this offer will also be available at all participating Starbucks — not just Disney locations.

As for Disneyland Cast Members, there are still plenty of ways that you can help out! There are food pantries set up for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Cast Members. Also, don’t forget to check out our list of ways to support Cast Members and their small businesses this holiday season!
