Recently, we reported that Disney characters would begin making an appearance at Disney Resorts as a special treat this holiday season. We are happy to report that characters have been spotted at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort!

Disney made an announcement on the Disney Parks Blog that reads:
From iconic Christmas trees to festive flourishes of garland adorning the front entrances and more, our resorts have decked their halls in celebration of the season for a fun holiday atmosphere. For instance, you can’t miss the massive and magnificent tree outside Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Or you can gaze in wonder at the tree stretching into the upper reaches of the soaring lobby at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Traditional tunes and holiday melodies fill the air in the classic setting of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, as a talented pianist performs live music most afternoons and evenings in the lobby. And while you’re visiting one of these magical places, you may just spot a favorite Disney pal taking in the sights, as well.
And now we have our first sighting of our favorite pals at the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts!
Disney fan and yacht Club Guest Shaun Hill shared this photo of Goofy and Pluto waiving to Guests from the pool area:
Additionally, we can see the characters in these photos thanks to Disney enthusiast HarrisburgMouse via forums.wdwmagic.com. These show the characters enjoying their time interacting with Guests, while still remaining socially distant.
You can see Goofy enjoying time in the sun greeting Guests for the holidays. And, below you can see Pluto as well!
We love seeing the characters come out and do greetings this holiday season. Though it is a different holiday season this year at Disney World thanks to the coronavirus pandemic the characters bring some much-needed extra cheer!
