The holographic Na’Vi figure that floats in the giant tank in the queue area is one of the most fascinating and popular aspects of the attraction, even though he resides in the queue and not within the actual attraction. Guests love watching this figure — who is part of a pretty realistic animatronic — as they wait to board a flight they will never forget.
However, earlier in the month, we reported that the popular figure located in the queue line for Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom was missing! We weren’t sure why he went missing — he could have been getting an update or just some basic maintenance, but the good news is he is back!
As you can see in the Imgur post above, one of our favorite Na’Vi is back! Guests can now watch the floating Na’Vi figure while waiting in line before hopping on the back of a Banshee and taking flight through Pandora.
We are glad to see he wasn’t missing for too long and most likely just received some regular, minor maintenance so he can continue to entertain Guests each and every day.
If you’ve never had the chance to ride this one-of-a-kind attraction, the official description reads:
Board your own mountain banshee and embark on a thrilling expedition, where interstellar explorers like you get an up-close look at this moon’s incredible landscape.
Bonding with a banshee is a crucial step in the life of a Na’vi hunter on Pandora—and flying on the back of one of these powerful creatures is an important rite of passage.
Now, as a visitor to Pandora, you finally have the chance to test yourself like a Na’vi!
