1Today, we have seen additional images of the temporary stage that has been constructed in front of Cinderella Castle at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park — and it looks wild!
This is likely for the filming of a segment that will be a part of the Disney Christmas Parks Special on ABC Christmas morning.

The stage looks crazy with a suspended bridge connecting two large platforms. Even slides can be seen coming down off of the sides of one of the stages!

We do know that the Disney Park Christmas special is being “reimagined” this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Traditionally, the special shows a medley of pre-filmed highlights of the Christmas parade at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. The special also includes typically includes pre-filmed performances by Disney’s brightest stars!
There has been no announcement from Disney on who is set to perform on this stage, but we cannot wait to find out.

Disney has said that they will be reusing some footage from previous years as well as some new segments. No doubt that this stage will be part of this new segment.
We can also look forward to a new Disney Holiday Singalong that will be coming to ABC this year!

We love the holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort, there is always something exciting going on. We cannot wait to see the finished product of the special performances that Disney has planned for this Holiday special!
