Now, Disney has announced an official opening date! On November 19, Guests will once again be able to experience the magic of Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, Carthay Circle Lounge, Trolley Treats, Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, and more during Christmastime.

Carthay Circle Lounge is set to have a seasonal menu from Chefs Andrew Sutton and Alex Flores, featuring the exclusive Carthay shrimp roll, entrees including harissa-roasted lamb and soy-glazed salmon, and an artisanal cheese board. A kids’ menu will also be available, featuring dishes like dragon chicken skewers.

Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe will offer holiday season treats like orange scones and classic hot chocolate!

It is important to remember that all of the shops and dining establishments that are currently open inside the gates of Disney California Adventure theme park are operating as an extension of the Downtown Disney District, which was allowed, under California regulations, to begin its phased reopening process over the summer.

Guests must enter DCA through a side entrance that is directly connected to Downtown Disney.

Rides and other attractions at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will not be allowed to run again until Orange County, where Anaheim is located, reaches the COVID-19 “minimal” yellow tier. Even then, the parks will be required to adhere to a number of strict protocols, including a maximum 25% capacity.

Until Disneyland Resort is given the green-light to fully reopen, however, Guests can look forward to experiencing the magic of Buena Vista Street on November 19.

Today, Disney Parks Blog shared additional details about what Guests can expect when they visit this newly reopened section of Disney California Adventure theme park:

Beginning Nov. 19, there will be a $10 fee per car for parking at the Downtown Disney District in the Simba Lot. The number of guests visiting the Downtown Disney District and its locations, including the shopping and dining experiences along Buena Vista Street, will be limited to promote physical distancing. We may at times use the mobile wait list system when Buena Vista Street and/or its queue are at capacity, similar to the process at some retail locations in the Downtown Disney District. Disney California Adventure Park is currently closed.

To stay up to date on the latest reopening news,

Who knows? If this partial reopening is successful, we hope could even see the revival of Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival in the not-too-distant future!

Will you be visiting Buena Vista Street to ring in the holidays?
