Due to the current pandemic, this Halloween season has looked a lot different than in years past. Many states are not allowing trick-or-treating due to the safety and CDC guidelines and many are expected to stay home instead.
However, Disney is bringing some magic to those of you at home as they have just introduced a new way to virtually trick-or-treat at one of the most iconic Disney attractions — The Haunted Mansion!
Disney Parks has teamed up with their friends at Mars Wrigley to allow Disney fans to virtually Trick-or-Treat using their new TREAT TOWN™ app.
Disney Parks Blog writes, “TREAT TOWN is a first-ever digital trick-or-treating experience and the perfect way to keep a classic Halloween tradition alive with your family. Whether you sign up to be a candy giver or a trick-or-treater, the app allows users to collect candy, connect with friends and family and maybe even visit some surprise locations…”
Now through October 31, fans can visit The Haunted Mansion virtually for a unique, one-of-a-kind trick-or-treating experience that only The Haunted Mansion can offer. For more information on TREAT TOWN and how to get started, click here.
If you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this Halloween season, be sure to swing by The Haunted Mansion to pay the 999 Happy Haunts a friendly visit. The Doom Buggy is waiting for you.
