While the four theme parks at Walt Disney World have all been reopened, the shortened hours have kept Guests from being able to experience the beauty of the parks as day transitions through twilight into night.

As the park hours extend, and the sun begins to set earlier and earlier with the change of season, we will hopefully get to experience that nighttime magic again soon.

Right now, those willing to close down certain parks like EPCOT can briefly experience this sensation again. But for those who have no been able to stay until then, or have no been able to come back to the Disney theme parks at all, bioreconstruct has shared some pictures on Twitter of what we have been missing:

The warm romantic lights in and outside of the Chefs de France restaurant at the France Pavilion.

The Dolphin Hotel at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort silhouetted by the setting sun with the Eiffel Tower in the background as well.

The towers of the Canada Pavilion along EPCOT’s World Showcase Lagoon.

With the passing of twilight, there is the coming of night, and walks back to the EPCOT parking lot will be able to take in this view of Spaceship Earth.

How to Experience EPCOT at Twilight

The Walt Disney World Resort recently extended EPCOT’s park hours to 11 am – 9 pm Friday-Monday this month. The Sunsets on the mega-resort and the rest of Central Florida begin just after 7 pm which gives Guests the opportunity to experience these magical twilight sights for themselves.

Much of the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow is boarded up by construction walls, but the beauty of World Showcase and celebration that is the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival still shines bright and makes it worth an entire Disney day.
