Disney has been filing several different permits lately, which Inside the Magic has been reporting on to keep you all up to date. Now, it looks as though another permit has been filed — This time for general construction on one of the theme park icons.

Inside the Magic spotted this permit, which you can view here, for the location of 5-745 W Savannah Circle, Bay Lake, FL, also known as the address for the Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The permit is for “general construction”. Unfortunately, not much other information is listed on the permit, but Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information regarding this permit.

The Tree of Life is where the 3D show, It’s Tough To Be A Bug, resides. If you aren’t familiar, Guests can become honorary bugs as they step into the theater located inside The Tree of Life and enjoy a live show hosted by Flik, the adorable and loveable ant from A Bug’s Life.

At the time of publication, the Walt Disney World website has not listed the Tree of Life to be closed nor have they announced any sort of major changes to the Tree of Life. We suspect this to just be a general touch up of the Animal Kingdom park icon.
