TikTok — the latest social media and Internet sensation that has completely taken over everyday lives.
With 2020 being a “not-so-normal” year and everyone having a lot more free time on their hands, many have decided to take to TikTok to share some fun, creative videos to help occupy time during the quarantine. Well, Disney is keeping up with the digital age as they just announced that they have officially joined TikTok!
@DisneyParks is Disney’s new TikTok channel which will be sharing the magic of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products! Disney Parks Blog writes, “Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind look at The Cadaver Dans coming out to socialize or a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the seasonal transformation at Magic Kingdom Park, @DisneyParks videos will stir the imagination, inspire the heart and bring a dose of happiness to your day – wherever you may be.

And the Dapper Dans recently performed live from the Magic Kingdom, in which Disney promoted via TikTok! Disney Parks Blog writes, “As you can see, to share Disney magic in a new way, we’re pushing the boundaries of creativity and fun with exclusive videos highlighting the best from our parks, including Disney cast members and guests.”

When Walt Disney World reopened to Guests, they announced there wouldn’t be any character meet and greets. However, you can still see some of your favorite Disney characters in pop up cavalcade or socially distanced interactions. Check out how Winnie the Pooh still greets Guests in EPCOT in this TikTok:
