Labor Day weekend is always busy at Walt Disney World Resort’s four theme parks and the Disney Springs district. This year, even amid the current pandemic, is no exception.

This evening, Guests at Disney Springs have begun reporting that Disney World’s popular shopping and dining district is at capacity tonight.

Twitter user @disneychica88 expressed disappointment in Disney Springs operations tonight, writing “So disappointed in @DisneySprings tonight” with a slew of sobbing emojis.

Another social media user, @AnaLaraCruzz, Tweeted, “Traffic at Disney springs [sic] is actually disgusting.”

Another Twitter user, @cecetron, noted, “Disney Springs hit capacity before 7 pm. It is a mess over there. Don’t go if you don’t have to.”

Finally, @Juicey_Kouture took to Twitter to say, “Disney springs is at capacity…Let’s see how this goes,” still apparently holding out hope to get into a parking garage at some point tonight!

It is important to remember that Disney Springs, like the rest of the Disney World complex, is currently operating at limited capacity.

Even though some Guests are upset about the Labor Day Saturday situation at the Orlando entertainment complex, Disney officials are doing what they can to keep both Guests and Cast Members safe as the pandemic continues.

Currently, Disney Springs has many of the same policies as Walt Disney World theme parks, including mandatory face masks for anyone over age 2, temperature checks prior to entering, and social distancing measures enforced throughout the area.

In regard to capacity, the official Disney Springs website states:

Disney Springs will open with the implementation of Guest capacity measures to limit density and comply with state and federal guidelines. Upon opening, this includes limiting our parking locations for arriving Guests to the Orange and Lime Parking Garages.

Disney also states:

Unfortunately, due to capacity restrictions at Disney Springs, once the parking garages are full, Guests will no longer be able to park and visit Disney Springs.

Are you at Disney Springs tonight? What do you think about Disney Springs at capacity and Labor Day 2020 crowds at the entire Disney World complex?
