Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has tested positive for COVID-19 along with the rest of his family. Through his Instagram channel, Johnson sends a heartfelt message to his fans via IGTV describing his ordeal and weighing in on the condition of his own health and the health of his family.
Dwayne Johnson Tests Positive for COVID-19
The Rock draws us in, saying, “My message to all of you around the 🌎: Stay disciplined. Boost your immune system. Commit to wellness. Wear your mask. Protect your family. Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings. Stay positive. And care for your fellow human beings. Stay healthy, my friends. DJ 🖤 #controlthecontrollables”
He urges us all to wear masks and distance as much as possible. If we have family and friends over (even if they have quarantined), The Rock asks that we test. We distance because we never know. The commitment to wellness and health was important to Johnson, as they battled the pandemic disease, and The Rock spends a great deal of his video advocating for building one’s immune system.
Johnson and his family have broken through to the other side of the illness, but each member of his family was hit. Their babies, Jazzy and Tia, had nothing but sore throats for a few days and are now happy babies playing around the house. The adults had a much rougher go of it, but they are on the mend and isolating at home.
One of the largest stars in Hollywood is urging us all to wear masks and stay safe. It’s a weighty message, any way you slice it. We say “THANK YOU!” for his message. Johnson’s projects, such as Jungle Cruise will debut to audiences everywhere in late 2021. You can find Moana streaming now on Disney plus.
