Today we spoke with a guest relations Cast Member that shared a new process Disney is doing on a case-by-case basis in order to restore some Guests Annual Pass. Here is how you may be able to renew your Annual Pass if it has expired! Note, this is on a case-by-case basis so be sure to call Disney at the Passholder hotline for information on your specific situation.
Here is what may qualify you to renew your Annual Pass even if it is a few months past its expiration. Again, this is for those passholders whose passes expired AFTER the parks reopened. Second, all passes can be renewed except Platinum Plus passes as the water parks will not be open the rest of this year so there would be no reason to renew those passes.
We have previously covered information pertaining to the Platinum Plus passes no longer being renewable, so if you have that pass type be sure to read our coverage here.
Next, if you would like to renew your pass and are deemed eligible to do so by Disney, you can pay for your renewed pass over the phone in full. If you are a Florida resident and want to be on a payment plan, or you prefer to renew your pass in person you must go to a Guest Relations location in person. You will not be permitted to renew your pass at a ticket booth so be sure you go to Guest Relations!
We are so glad Disney has decided to instate this new way for Passholders to come back to the Walt Disney World.
Let us know in the comments if you will be taking advantage of this new opportunity to renew your Walt Disney World annual pass!
