This week, we have an update pertaining to Annual Pass renewals at Walt Disney World Resort.

The latest news comes directly from the Annual Passholders page in the Experience Updates section of the Disney World website. This is where Disney has been sharing all of the most up-to-date information related to Annual Passes. According to this recent update, Platinum Plus pass renewals are not currently available.

Note: Platinum Plus renewals are not available at this time, but existing Platinum Plus Passholders will have the ability to select from a variety of passes once it’s time for their pass renewal.

The above statement indicates that once it is time for Platinum Plus Passholders to renew their APs, they can select from a variety of other AP options.

This news for the Platinum Plus AP — which allows Annual Passholders access to the Disney World Water Parks, in addition to the Disney’s Oak Trail golf course and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex — comes after Disney announced that the reopening of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has been delayed until at least March 2021.
