This announcement comes after we reported that according to People Magazine, Downtown Disney will proceed with reopening on July 9, although all dining locations will be limited to outdoor services. At the time of this article’s publication, Disney has not shared any updates this week regarding the phased reopening of Disneyland Resort. However, the company has not indicated that the reopening of the shopping, dining, and entertainment district Downtown Disney will be postponed, despite some businesses having to delay reopening their doors.
Keep in mind that even though Universal Studios Hollywood is located in Los Angeles County and Disneyland Resort is located in Orange County, both counties are under California Governor Gavin Newsom’s watch list and have been ordered to cease all indoor dining for the next few weeks.
Universal Studios Hollywood remains closed. Neither Universal nor Disney Parks in California can reopen until receiving more guidelines from the state.
