As Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother sang:
Salagadoola mechicka boola
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo
Put them together and what have you got?
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo
With a little magic, a sprinkle of pixie dust, and a lot of elbow grease from Disney Park construction crews, Cinderella Castle’s transformation is nearly complete and the Disney icon is ready to welcome Guests back to the Magic Kingdom this weekend!
Just yesterday, there were still cranes and scaffolding surrounding the Disney castle’s turrets as workers put the finishing touches on the makeover it received in honor of the 70th anniversary of Walt Disney’s Cinderella. Today, however, the rose gold, royal blue, and gold transformation is nearly finished, and Disney has announced that it is almost complete.
This writer loves the new Cinderella Castle color scheme and can’t wait to take a castle selfie (masked, of course!).
Disney Parks Blog shared some gorgeous close-up photos of Cinderella Castle following its latest renovation, including photos of the castle clock and the allover gold detailing that has been added.
Even though the castle’s transformation was intended to celebrate Cinderella, it’s an incredible way to welcome Guests back to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
