Magic Moments, an organization that grants wishes to special needs children and their families, has surprised Alabama native, Princess Paisley, with a trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
Paisley and her family were given the trip at one of Magic Moments’ annual fundraisers in Alabama. The little girl’s mother, Lynn Box, told local news station WKRG 5, “Having a special needs child is always difficult monetary wise to do the things you want to do for her because you have to spend a lot of it on medical. So Magic Moments providing this for her is just phenomenal.”
When Paisley was gifted her Walt Disney World vacation on June 18, plenty of Disney Princess characters from a local acting group were on-hand to surprise her!
Paisley’s mother said, “I am super excited for her she loves princesses and this is literally a magic moment for her.” The little girl was given “Princess Lessons” from Aurora, Moana, Belle, Elsa, and Jasmine.
The Disney Princess actresses taught the little girl how to wave, stand, and act just like a princess after she received her dream Disney World vacation!
Magic Moments is a unique organization in that it only serves Alabama residents. Other well known organizations, such as The Make-a-Wish Foundation, are nationwide. The non-profit group makes wishes come true for boys and girls who are suffering from both chronic conditions and life-threatening illnesses.
Magic Moments’ Mobile, AL Regional Director Kimberly Etherton told WKRG, “There are two things that really sets [sic] us apart from other wish-granting organizations. The first is that we are only in Alabama. The Beyond the Moments program where we invite all of our children and their families back to come and stay connected with us and other families who might be going through similar things.”
The entire ITM team wishes Paisley and her family the trip of a lifetime when they visit Walt Disney World Resort after it reopens! We know she’s going to especially love the .
