This has been a big week for theme parks in Central Florida! The first U.S. Disney Parks property re-opening its doors this past Wednesday, and today Universal Orlando submitted their reopening plans for reopening with a potential date of June 5th!
It appears the landmark attractions are gearing up for reopening, and although we’re still waiting to hear any official updates with opening dates from the Walt Disney World Resort, aside from the news coming in about Disney Springs, a magical sight was spotted by a passerby that filled us with faith, trust, and pixie dust!

Girl Meets Disney World saw at two Monorails in the sky, the Orange Monorail, and the Silver Monorail during a drive through the property. SO exciting!
Transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort has been halted since the resort closed due to the health pandemic back in March. We’re unsure if Disney was testing the monorails, or starting to prepare for reopening. Whatever the case, it gave us all the feels to know there is progress at the house of mouse!
