I don’t know about all of you, but I’m a daydreamer.  I spend my days dreaming about what adventure I want to go on next.  What parts of the world do I want to explore?  Walt Disney World is always a spectacular option if I can’t go too far, because it’s like traveling to many parts of the world all in one spot.  What many people don’t know though is that you can travel the world with Disney, Adventures by Disney.

Let’s walk through an Adventures by Disney vacation at home, with stops at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and South Africa!

Walt Disney World Expedition Everest

Today, we’re going to start at the Disney Parks, well one Disney Park to be exact, Animal Kingdom.  Let’s drop off our bags at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, where we’re staying for the night, and make our way inside the park.  We’re heading to Animal Kingdom for a trip up Mount Everest.  Expedition Everest is a thrilling ride that takes us on an amazing adventure with an incredible story.

As you walk through the queue, you’ll notice the history left behind from the explorers before you.  Once you’re on the ride, you’ll see a lot of intricate detailing that you may also see if you were really in the Himalayas.  It took a lot of research to create this attraction and you can learn more about it as you take a virtual ride here:

Adventures by Disney, South Africa

I hope your bags are packed because it’s already the departure date for the next part of our Disney trip.  Now, it’s time for us to head down with our adventure guide to Cape Town, South Africa!  Buckle up, because this Disney itinerary is going to be one of the most extraordinary experiences.  Adventures by Disney is always great for if you have a junior adventurer or even multiple.

Adventures by Disney gives you the ability see the world but also keep your littles entertained with some Disney magic.  We are going to take a guided tour through an African Safari vacation.  There’s no motor coach needed for this Disney escape, because we’re participating in one of the #DisneyMagicMoments: Adventures at Home.  Disney is giving us a privately guided tour with different activities such as, movies to watch, food, and games.

First, we have to dress for the occasion so fine the most appropriate safari attire in your closet.  Then we’re going to take to Disney+ to enjoy how magnificent the safari wildlife is.  This might turn into an evening game drive with such an extensive itinerary of True-Life Adventures: The African Lion, The Lion King, The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, The Lion King 1 1/2, Disney Nature: African Cats, The Lion King (live action), and Disney Nature: Elephant.  Take a break from watching the wildlife on this land package and join in on some fun and games like the one posted above.

Now we can’t forget about fueling the belly.  So for dinner (or lunch), we’re going to cook up a Spicy Durban-Style Chicken.  We end the night lounging under the night sky and gazing at the twinkling stars.  It’s amazing to experience the beauty of astronomy when the sky is not polluted by the city lights.  Enjoy some Paw Print Cookies while you’re out there just chatting and spending time with your fellow adventurers.
