We recently reported that Hong Kong Disneyland has been testing reopening procedures for the theme park, which heavily focuses on maintaining social distancing due to the current pandemic. One thing that is included in these procedures is setting up a trial queue line within the theme park — which is focused to help maintain social distancing among guests when visiting the Disney Park. Now, Hong Kong Disneyland is taking the next step in the reopening process by bringing back select Character Dining before officially reopening their theme park!
According to Disney Magical Kingdom Blog, “Mickey & his pals return to Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel to greet guests under special arrangements to maintain social distancing amongst guests and cast members. Fans can enjoy ‘All You Can Eat’ lunch & dinner from April 30 – May 3, 2020 in the Enchanted Garden Restaurant.”

The Official Hong Kong Disneyland Announcement
From April 30 to May 3, 2020, the Enchanted Garden Restaurant at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel will offer “all you can eat” lunch and dinner. Guests will be able to enjoy lunch from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or dinner from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Escape from reality, walk under an ornate wrought-iron archway and proceed through a trellised hallway flourished with magical vines and flowers. Arrive in a lovely Victorian setting and enjoy a cornucopia of delicious dishes, Asian and Western classics (e.g. Seafood on Ice, Cold Appetizers & Salads, Assorted Sashimi, International Cuisine, Chinese Flavors, Asian Specialties, Kid’s Meals and Desserts). What’s more, enjoy special appearances by our popular Disney Characters from time to time and snap some photos of them from your table to capture the happy moment.
Entertain your taste buds and your imagination with yummy dishes at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant during the long weekend! Taste the magic of “all you can eat” inspired by cuisines from around the world. And for the grand finale, indulge in some sumptuous desserts, for a sweet happily ever after!

More On The Temporary Park Closure of Hong Kong Disneyland
The official announcement on the Hong Kong Disneyland website reads:
As a precautionary measure in line with preventive efforts taking place across Hong Kong, we are temporarily closing Hong Kong Disneyland Park out of consideration for the health and safety of our Guests and Cast Members. We are in close contact with health authorities and the government about the situation and will announce a reopening date once they determine it is advisable. The Hong Kong Disneyland hotels are available for future bookings and Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre remains open.
The Standard Park Ticket is valid for six months from the purchase date. If needed, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will assist in the refund for Guests who have purchased tickets for admission to Hong Kong Disneyland Park or have booked a resort hotel.
