Due to the current global pandemic, Adventures by Disney has had to make adjustments to upcoming Disney Destinations vacations.
For the time being, Adventures by Disney has made adjustments to its terms and conditions (including waiving the cancellation fee and giving full credit back on vacation packages). And now, Disney is extending the time frame on these adjustments.
Initially, Adventures by Disney stated that guests would be able to receive a 100% credit for Disney Adventures purchased through May 31, 2002 — Now, Disney has pushed that date back to vacations booked through July 31, 2020.

The official cancellation statement on the Adventures by Disney website reads:
IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE AND TEMPORARY CANCELLATION POLICY UPDATE
We are offering a temporary adjustment to our terms and conditions to provide more flexibility for our Guests.
Additionally, we are offering a temporary update to our cancellation policy. Any new bookings made on future trips through the end of June 2020 will be subject to fully refundable deposits up until the final payment date.

The company had initially made the announcements that previously booked trips for March, April, and May had been canceled. Adventures by Disney also made the decision to cancel vacations booked through June 30, 2020. The official statement reads:
With the well-being of our Guests and team members as our top priority, Adventures by Disney has made the decision to suspend most departures through June 30, 2020. Adventures by Disney will contact all impacted Guests or their Travel Agents with updated information and options.
Disney River Cruise and Disney Cruise Line Packages
Both Adventures by Disney River Cruise and Disney Cruise Line has also had to make adjustments to vacation packages due to the current health crisis. The following cancellation announcements have been made.
Adventures by Disney and AmaWaterways River Cruise Update
In our continuing effort to ensure the well-being of our Guests and team members, Adventures by Disney along with AmaWaterways, our partner in river cruise sailings, have decided to suspend all river cruise sailings and their associated Escape trips through June 28, 2020.
Adventures by Disney Escapes and Disney Cruise Line packages
As a result, the following Adventures by Disney Escapes and Disney Cruise Line packages have been cancelled.
Mediterranean Cruise Packages:
- 7-Night Mediterranean Cruise Package with Villefranche:Â May 23, 2020
- 7-Night Mediterranean Cruise Package with Toulon:Â May 30, 2020
- 7-Night Mediterranean Cruise Package from Barcelona ending in Rome:Â June 6, 2020
Barcelona Escapes:
- May 20 & 27, 2020
- June 3, 2020
Alaska:
- 7-Night Alaska Cruise Package:Â Departures cancelled through June 30, 2020
Guests who have purchased any of the above Adventures by Disney Mediterranean Cruise packages or Barcelona Escape packages will automatically be refunded in the form of their original payment.
