Due to enduring–and, in some cases, further mounting–concerns surrounding the current global pandemic, Disney’s luxurious adventure-travel company, Adventures by Disney, has decided to further cancel its scheduled trips now through the end of May.
Adventure by Disney was already looking at its May adventures and in an advisory on its website offered cancellation extension to the following trips:
- River Cruise Adventure departures through May
- Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia departures through May
- Italy departures through May
- Italy and Amalfi Coast departures through May
- Japan departures through May
- China departures through June
Considering each destination’s close proximity to epicenters of the pandemic outbreak, as well as direct travel guidelines and restrictions from government officials and health officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it is unsurprising to see these trips through May–including the river cruises–finally canceled.
However, Adventures by Disney has not canceled everything just yet. It is still evaluating a few options: the 3-night Barcelona Escape which is set to depart on 5/20 and 5/27, and the 7-night Mediterranean Adventures by Disney Cruise Package which is set to depart 5/23 and 5/30. Aventures by Disney offers unforgettable experiences that feature outstanding levels of luxury and immersion for only small groups of tourists at a time. It is a shame to see such expedition-style opportunities be canceled due to the current health situation around the world.
