In tough times, it’s important to remember that we are truly all in this together and there’s something to be said for having a positive attitude no matter what comes our way. Nobody exemplifies positivity better than the Disney Princesses.

From Cinderella’s cheerful demeanor as she scrubbed floors, did laundry, and fed chickens, to Princess Anna’s unwavering faith in her sister, Elsa, the girls all have a knack for looking on the bright side of life, even when thing seem hopeless.

Walt Disney’s original 1937 Disney Princess, Snow White, was the first to display the “whistle while you work” mentality that has come to be synonymous with all of the Disney Princesses.  Now, Disney’s El Capitan Theatre is sharing a positive message from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on their marquee.

The theatre, which was built in the 1920s and came to be owned by the Walt Disney Company in the late 1980s, posted a Monday Motivation photo of their marquee to their Instagram page. The Snow White quote reads, “Remember, you’re the one who can fill the world with sunshine – Snow White.”

In the message accompanying the Snow White photo, the El Capitan Theatre social media team told followers, “We miss you and can’t wait until we can invite you back to safely be our guest at The El Capitan Theatre. Until then, we will be sending you a touch of magic to enjoy at home with some of our favorite memories and history of our theatre.”

The post continued, “For a little #MondayMotivation from us to you, here is one of our messages currently running on our marquee in Hollywood.”

Do you love The El Capitan Theatre marquee message? What are you doing to “be the sunshine” right now?

More magical motivation from Disney

The El Capitan Theatre team isn’t alone in their mission to keep Disney magic alive until the Disney Parks reopen and life returns to a state of relative normalcy. Disney properties around the world have been sharing inspirational messages with fans.

Disney World Contemporary Resort Cast Members lit the Deluxe hotel up with a massive heart and the Polynesian Village Resort Cast Members reminded everyone to be “Brave” in these trying times.

Even Walt Disney World Resort President, Josh D’Amaro, has been sprinkling pixie dust with inspiring social media messages to fans. He has shared encouraging words about EPCOT’s Flower & Garden topiaries and thanked essential Cast Members for their efforts in recent days.
