Bethany and Zack Photography is a photography studio who’s philosophy is “We believe photos should be fun, authentic, and timeless.” They offer family, maternity, newborn, senior, milestone, anniversary, engagement, and custom photoshoot packages. But they just recently did a photoshoot for one of our all-time favorite Disney couples and the outcome is fantastic!
Inside the Magic had the chance to speak with Bethany from Bethany and Zack Photography and when asked what the inspiration behind the photoshoot was, the story was heartwarming:
My family and I have been self isolating for a couple of weeks already and we were getting pretty bored, as I’m sure everyone is right now! We have a five year old and a three year old, and trying to keep them entertained all day isn’t easy. We were all so tired of being cooped up in the house, so as soon as the weather was nice we decided to head out into the yard to play! My daughter isn’t a big fan of the swing set so I asked her if she wanted to take her dolls out and have a wedding! Of course the answer was “yes!”
We found some princesses that still had their dresses on and dug out some of my Mattel toys from my childhood so we could have a cake, and even a bouquet! My daughter had a blast playing dolls together, and of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photograph something that doesn’t complain! After we were done playing my daughter had so much fun looking back through the photos from her disney wedding, and of course I couldn’t wait to show my photographer friends!
At first I wasn’t even going to share the photos online, I sent them to my friends for a laugh but I was sure people online would think I had gone crazy! I mean I was out in my backyard photographing dolls! But my friends convinced me that I absolutely had to share them on social media, and I’m so glad I listened to them! We’ve received so many sweet comments, and I have read every single one! I love hearing how people relate to the post or that it made their day or how their little one’s eyes lit up when they saw the photos! I hope this continues to spread joy during this time of uncertainty and inspires other parents to make the most of this situation!
Inside the Magic also asked if they had any plans on shooting any other Disney weddings. “We’ve had a lot of requests for additional Princess photoshoots, and I mean A LOT,” Bethany said. “Currently on the request list is a honeymoon for Anna and Kristoff, a maternity session for Anna, a reception featuring all of the Disney gang, and weddings for other characters including Belle and even Elsa! Currently, I’m working on something for Anna and Kristoff’s honeymoon, after that who knows! I’d love to fill this time and spread some happiness with other Disney inspired sessions!”
We photographed our first wedding of 2020 today as Anna and Kristoff finally tied the knot! That’s right, not even the Coronavirus can stop true love! It was a beautiful backyard ceremony, surrounded by spring flowers and friends. It was an intimate gathering, with only 7 in attendance (because you have to follow CDC guidelines y’all) but it was perfect none the less! Congratulations to my daughter’s favorite Disney couple!
There were a select few in attendance for Anna and Kristoff’s big day — Elsa, Anna’s big sister, and Olaf from Frozen were both there as well as Merida from Brave and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Grand Pappy troll was the officiant for the wedding.

Bethany and Zack Photography had the opportunity to work with a real-life Disney wedding last fall, which she loved doing the photography for! “I did get to second shoot a Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding last fall that was so fun! The bride was so sweet, she was basically a real-life Disney Princess,” she said.
