We don’t know about you, but we love Olaf! The snowman’s comic relief in the first Frozen film is the perfect complement to Elsa’s intensity and his maturation in Frozen 2 is equally (if unintentionally on Olaf’s part) hilarious.
As we ride out quarantine, much like Elsa in her ice castle, Disney’s animation tutorials are a great way for your entire family to pass the time! The animation team is back with an Olaf video that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
Disney Animation Supervisor Hyrum Osmond takes viewers through the process of drawing everyone’s favorite snowman in a 16-minute video. The #DrawWithDisneyAnimation instructors do a great job of explaining each step, so even kids (and the not-so-artistic among us) can follow along.

If you can’t enough virtual Animation Academy- style classes, you’re in luck. The #DrawWithDisneyAnimation team also shared a Sven drawing tutorial this week. Your sketch of Kristoff’s best friend will look great hanging next to your Olaf drawing!
To create a fully immersive Frozen experience, listen to the voice of Olaf, Josh Gad, reading children’s bedtime stories after you’re done with your Olaf sketch.
Even more artistic fun!
