We don’t know about you, but we’re missing the Disney Parks a lot at the moment and that’s why we’re trying our hardest to keep the magic alive here on Inside the Magic and have been blown away by some of the fans who have been making the best out of being stuck at home.
We have another example here from Jess Siswick who has done an incredible job of recreating Soarin’ Over California from the safety and comfort of her own home. Check it out below:

The detail that Jess has put into Soarin’ Over California at home is awesome, she’s made herself a little seatbelt (nice work pal), dangles her feet just like guests do on the real attraction and even made herself a little scented spray!
This kind of content is keeping me sane at the moment and I love how creative Disney fans can be when they’re in a bit of a pickle.
Soarin’ is, of course, one of Disney Park’s most popular attractions and although we love Soarin’ Around the World here at Inside the Magic, nothing quite beats the original. A lot of fans agree and every year Disney California Adventure seems to continually bring back the attraction as a little treat for fans during the Food and Wine Festival. So long as we continue to get Patrick Warburton as Chief Flight Attendant Patrick, all will be right with the world.
Though living through the experience at home isn’t quite as good as smelling the orange groves or seeing the Golden Gate Bridge in California Adventure in Disneyland, it’s still fantastic to see what can be done from the home. It would be good to see someone take on Soarin’ Around the World and feature the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, and Sydney Opera House!

We’d like to see other attractions getting a similar treatment. We reckon some easy ones to tick off include:
- Star Tours (it has been done before to be fair)
- Flight of Passage
- The Enchanted Tiki Room
- Smuggler’s Run
