Disney actors help fight Coronavirus

These are uncharted territories we are in these days with Coronavirus. Washing your hands has never been more important. Social distancing and self quarantining are becoming increasingly prevalent. There are some Disney actors that are playing their part in spreading the awareness on these issues. Luckily, they have got a very positive attitude about it and are spreading some light!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Dwayne Johnson, also known as, The Rock, the actor known for playing the demigod, Maui in Moana is teaching his little girl the importance of washing her hands. (Anyone else think his daughter looks like Moana?) This really shows how much he loves Moana as well, because it is not the first time he has used Moana to help people. In this case, what a coincidence that the movie is based around the ocean, which is water, which is what you need for washing your hands!

It is not only important to wash your hands, but the thoroughness and length of time you wash your handsis what makes a difference in killing germs. It has been common to sing the “ABC’s” or “Happy Birthday” while you are washing your hands to make sure you are washing your hands between twenty to thirty seconds each time. The Rock says you can also rap his portion of “You’re Welcome!” I think some people may end up washing their hands longer just trying to rap that!

Josh Gad

Josh Gad, the actorwho plays both LeFou from Beauty and the Beast and Olaf from the Frozen movies is helping you practice social distancing. He has such a great sense of humor which you can see by his Instagram post below. He makes light under our less that optimal circumstances. To help pass the time, he is taking to Instagram live everyday to do story time. (Posted on most his social media pages.) He has such a great narrative voice to read these children’s books.  Head over to his profile daily for a new story time!

Ashley Tisdale

Ashley Tisdale, most known for her role in the High School Musical movies as Sharpay Evans is helping you get through self-quarantining! She took to one of the newer social media platforms, TikTok, to challenge us to learn the most iconic dance from the first High School Musical movie, “We’re All in This Together.” It really does send a great message too because we are all in this together, worldwide, during this pandemic.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens, the actress who plays Gabriella Montez in the film, even jumped on board too in response to Ashley.

As, Ashley Tisdale says in her original post, hopefully this brightens your day a little!
