As many of you now know, Bob Chapek is the new CEO of The Walt Disney Company. Not long after the news broke that Bob Iger was stepping down and Chapek, who has worked for Disney for 27 years now, was filling his shoes (effective immediately), we learned that Chapek’s home in Camarillo, CA is now on the market — Selling for $3.49 million.
But what’s interesting is that Chapek appears to not be in any rush to sell his residence as the home has been on the market for a little over a year!
Both Coldwell Banker Realty-Westlake Village Regional hold the current listing. According to Realtor, listing agent, Erin Phl said that Chapek’s home is just one of “only 25 custom and equestrian estates in the 387-acre community.
“All properties are zoned equestrian, and trails meander throughout the community, connecting to the larger Santa Rosa Valley trail system,” Pohl said. Chapek’s home is located “at the peak of the community, with stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys — including the Reagan Library.”
The Realtor Listing Description
Realtor describes the home as “Located in the gated and exclusive Lexington Hills Development, the massive, 6,088-square-foot mansion features six bedrooms and 6.5 baths on just over 20 acres. On the outside of the home, you will find many amenities from an infinity-edge pool, spa, and slide to a spacious outdoor lounge. There is also dining and kitchen areas as well as a vegetable garden and fruit trees, a covered greenhouse, and a viewing deck!
On the inside of the home, you will find a beautiful kitchen with granite slab counters, a bar and a wine cellar, as well as pantries. Also included are high-end appliances from Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Miele.
The formal living, dining room, and screening room are spacious and the owner’s suite includes a sitting area and an outdoor private spa with gorgeous views.
