This is NOT a drill — Marvel fans, get ready for this!

2021 is going to be a great year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as @ERCboxoffice has just announced a new untitled movie will be released into theaters on October 8, 2021. Though we are unsure what exactly the new Marvel and Sony movie will be, we have a date so mark those calendars!

The tweet reads “Sony’s web continues to grow. UNTITLED SONY/MARVEL pic now set for Oct. 8, 2021.”

With this new untitled film, this now gives Sony not one but two movie releases for next year! The other upcoming 2021 Sony Marvel film will be a sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home which will be released on July 16th, 2021. So with this being said, and by the way that Tweet reads, there is a bit of speculation that this new October 8 untitled film will be a spin-off film for a Spider-Man character, though we are unsure if this is true and if so, which character it would be based upon.

In the tweet, the words “Sony’s web continues to grow” appear. So that makes people start to think this new untitled film will be something relating to the web-slinger himself, Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man!)
